I spent more than three decades in journalism and professional storytelling, and have been involved in theatre since my teens as an actor, stage manager and director. A few years ago I began writing plays.
My first solo play, The Harder Courage, is the touching story of the friendship between a sheriff and the man he must hang for murder. It was a finalist in the 2018 Ashland New Plays Festival and is one of the original plays invited to join the ANPF’s Play4Keeps podcast site, launched in late 2018. Theatre 33 gave it a developmental workshop in August 2019.
For newspaper stories and podcasts about the play, see the “In the Media” link in the drop-down menu.
